Loss of Self-Identity
When navigating relationships
(both romantic and non) do you find it challenging to maintain a strong sense of self? Do you tend to focus more on the other person's wants, needs and desires rather than honoring your own? Do you struggle to articulate your own wants, needs and desires to yourself and others?
Difficulty Saying "No"
Do you often find it difficult to establish and uphold boundaries? Do you ever feel confused or conflicted about what your personal boundaries are? Do you often feel compelled to say "yes" to others even if it negatively impacts your health or well-being?
Fear of Abandonment
Do you ever find yourself grappling with a profound fear of abandonment or rejection? Do you notice yourself avoiding confrontation, prioritizing others over yourself, or seeking reassurance and/or validation from others when the security of the relationship (romantic and non) is threatened?
Unhealthy Relationship Dynamics
Do you have a history of attracting toxic relationships or friends? Do you find yourself drawn to others that you feel you can help, save, fix or rescue (including those who struggle with addiction?)
Does the phrase "needing to be needed', in the context of relationships ring true for you?
Do you identify as being a caregiver?
Emotional Exhaustion
Do you feel emotionally and/or physically exhausted due to running on all cylinders for your job, your family, your partner, your friends etc.? Do you often feel stressed, reactive, easily triggered, or anxious? Do you ever feel a deep pit of emptiness or aloneness in your heart?
