This retreat is a safe, supportive, and loving space where we will help you shift you from living an unconscious detached life, where you are merely surviving, to living a conscious, meaningful, love-centered life, empowering your ability to thrive.

It will be intense, even hard at times, and it may even be emotionally exhausting at times, but you will be FULLY supported throughout the weekend by two trauma-informed, compassionate Christian women.

 

Tanya is a Certified Narcissistic Trauma Informed Coach™, hypnotherapist, and brainspotting practitioner, and Angela, is a Licensed Therapist, and Eden Energy Medicine Practitioner.

The retreat is a mix of educational workshops coupled with somatic exercises to allow for emotional processing and expression along with the following:

* Time in Nature
* Art Projects
* Integrative Breathwork
* Guided imagery
* Writing Assignments
* Self- Reflective Exercises


* Additional therapeutic bodywork, and brainspotting sessions are available by appointment only on Sunday November 5 , for an additional fee.

Healing is an ongoing process that takes time and requires a support network of of safe professionals. This retreat wont "fix" anyone, but will allow for support on their journey of healing.

This all inclusive retreat includes accommodations ,all work shops, self serve snacks and drinks, breakfast and lunch Saturday (dinner on your own) and breakfast on Sunday.

Tanya Bashor

Tanya Bashor, the founder and CEO of Impart Clarity LLC, provides education and coaching to women affected by trauma caused from narcissistic abuse. She offers a free Facebook Community, an educational blog, several different coaching programs, as well as transformative and immersive retreats.

Tanya is a Narcissistic Trauma Specialist, a Certified Narcissistic Trauma Informed Coach, hypnotherapist and level II Brainspotting practitioner.

Tanya’s desire is to provide practical help and hope to women who find themselves trying to heal after an abusive relationship, to inspire them to rediscover the joy in their lives, live with purpose, and claim their own post-traumatic growth, so that they can return to loving themselves and have healthy, happy relationships with others.

Angela Failor

Angela Failor, owner of Shine Your Light! LLC, has a passion for empowering others to holistically heal from the physical, emotional, and spiritual consequences of trauma and to say “No More” to all forms of abuse. Angela has worked as a Domestic Violence Counselor and Children’s Advocate, Sexual Trauma Counseling Intern, and a Drug and Alcohol Therapist. She earned a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology degree from Chatham University. She is a Clinical Eden Energy Medicine Practitioner. Angela credits God, energy medicine*, and other holistic modalities with healing her life. She is writing a book about her amazing journey to inspire others to never lose hope!

Susan is a mom to two young women, loves her morning coffee, has the best sense of humor, and a huge heart!  Susan attended the first retreat as a participant and now helps to facilitate as the "Retreat Coordinator". She is Tanya's long time friend, and will be a welcome part of the team this year, ensuring the retreat runs smoothly, all our needs are taken care of, and we are fed yummy nutritious food!

Who is the retreat designed for?  

This is an ALL WOMEN RETREAT. Open to any woman over age 18.

Who should attend?

  • Anyone who feels that they are having a problem healing from something/someone in their past, or is feeling stuck.

  • Anyone who has made poor partner choices in the past and is looking to break that cycle.

  • Anyone wanting to get away for some reflective time with like-minded people.

  • Anyone who is looking to do things differently in life and doesn't know where to begin.

Where is the retreat being held?

We will be staying in the historical Plumer Guest House in West Newton, PA, it is located on the GAP Trail along the Youghiogheny River.

 

The town of West Newton’s early name, “Simeral’s Ferry,” lives on in today’s Simeral Square, a delightful picnic and gathering space overlooking the river.

West Newton’s first and biggest industry was the Markle Paper Mill, opened in 1859 to supply the region with quality paper. The building still stands on North Water Street. The 1814 clapboard Plumer House, on South Water Street and the oldest structure remaining in West Newton, is on the National Register of Historic Places.

West Newton is located south east, and approximately 50 minutes from down town Pittsburgh.

What meals are included in the ticket price?

  • Friday evening reception.

  • Saturday, a continental breakfast will be served, along with lunch. 

  • Saturday evening dinner will not be provided; you're on your own for this meal. However, there is a restaurant called the Trailside conveniently situated just a short walk away from the Plumer guest house.

  • Sunday continental breakfast will be served.

  • Snacks and drinks will also be provided throughout the weekend. 

(Menu is nutritious, low fat and carb conscious with gluten free options. Any dietary restrictions or food allergies should be made known upon registration, and will be accommodated.) 

What will the workshops be like?

The workshops will be a mixture of individual and group exercises that are easily personalized to you and your situation as you will be working on your own "stuff".

You can share as much or as little as you choose, and will still get results either way.

Expect break-throughs, rapid transformation and release of long-held trauma. 

We will have regular breaks throughout the programming, and you may opt out of any exercises, for any reason, without judgement!

What is the dress code, and what should I bring?

The dress code for the weekend is comfy-casual. 

Bring layers as we will be both inside and outside all weekend.

Bring a notebook and pen.

We will be walking outside, weather permitting, so please bring walking shoes.

We are close to the GAP bicycle trail if you like to ride, please bring your bike.

Why are there a limited number of tickets available for this retreat?

To ensure a personalized experience and provide ample time and attention for coaching, we have restricted the number of attendees to just 12. For your convenience, we offer overnight accommodation for up to 7 individuals, and there are 5 additional tickets available for local residents who do not require lodging (accommodation cost not included).

What is the cost of the Retreat?

Early Bird Overnight Guest Ticket  $600  (Book by 10/15/23)

Overnight Guest Ticket $700 (Booked after 10/15/23)

Me & My BFF Ticket*  - $550 (per person- sharing a room with 2 Queen beds - first come first served ONLY 2 tickets available )

Local Resident Ticket  $400 (Would require participant to commute -This ticket does not include accommodation)

*What is the Me & My BFF Ticket?

The "Me and My BFF ticket" is designed for you and a friend to come together and share a bedroom. ( You will each get a queen bed) The cost is reduced due to double occupancy, saving you $50 per person on the pay in full price. There is only one room available with 2 Q beds and it is first come first served.)

What does the local resident ticket include?

All workshops, and activities.

Lunch Saturday.

Drinks and snacks.

(No accommodation or breakfast is provided for local resident tickets.)
